Miriam Smith Killed Dog For Chewing On Bible: Nephew's Pit Bull Hanged From Tree, Burned To Death

I suspect that the Bible was leather-bo­und and that the pit bull attacked the cover. Would not the woman AND the entire Christian community be wiser if NO Bibles are EVER covered in the skin of a tortured and now dead animal?
